The garden

The formal walled garden at Newtonmill is well known.

It is opened to the public occasionally for charitable events which are always very well supported.

In the summer months it is brimming with colour and scent from the rose, herbaceous, peony and iris beds.

Many different vegetables and fruits are grown in season and used for the guests for dinner and breakfast.

Guests can relax in the revolving summer house and are encouraged to explore the garden.

There is easy access to all parts of the garden with hedge lined gravel paths, and wide lawns
